C. C. Lamington
C. C. Lamington (1860–1940)
Lord Lamington was the first member of the Club and President from 1896–1901. He was awarded the 3rd Honorary Life Membership in 1902. The Right Honourable Charles Wallace Alexander Napier Cochrane-Baillie, 2nd Baron Lamington, K.C. M.G was a British member of parliament who later served as the 8th Governor of Queensland (1896–1901).
S. W. Griffith
S. W. Griffith (1845–1920)
Samuel Griffith was the 34th member and President from 1901-1902. In his professional life, Sir Samuel Griffith K.C.M.G C.J served as the Queensland Minister for Education 1876-1879; 1883-1885 then as Premier of Queensland 1883-1888; 1890-1893.
J. Forrest
J. Forrest (1848–1911).
John Forrest was President from 1902-1909. He was a pastoralist, company director, political organiser and local government figure.

E. H. Macartney (1863–1956)
Edward Macartney joined in 1896. Committee member 1898–1900. 5th Honorary Life Membership 1903. Captain 1908-1909. President 1910–1919; 1921–1929 and 1934-1936. Honorary Solicitor 1896–1936. Club Trustee 1924–1956. Professional life: The Honourable Sir Edward Macartney M.L.A was a lawyer, member of state parliament, Minister, Leader of the Opposition plus Agent-General for Queensland.
E. J. Holmes
E. J. Holmes (1866–1939)
Edward Holmes was Treasurer from 1906–1910, Honorary Secretary from 1907–1910, followed by Captain in 1911–1912, prior to serving as President from 1919–1921. In his professional life, Edward Holmes was a stockbroker.
E. D. Ahern
E.D Ahern (1888–1983)
Edward Ahern served as President from 1929–1930, after joining the Club in 1919. In his professional life Dr Edward Ahern was a medical surgeon and served in both World Wars.
H. D. Macrossan
H. D. Macrossan (1881–1940)
Hugh Macrossan served as President from 1930–1934. In his professional life, Justice Macrossan S.P.J was a barrister, member of the Queensland Parliament, a judge and Chief Justice of Queensland.
R. E. Nixon–Smith
R. E. Nixon–Smith (1890–1947)
Leigh Nixon-Smith served as President from 1936–1937. He was elected to the Committee in 1935 and defeated President Edward McCartney for the Presidency in 1936. In his professional life, Leigh was first a shipping agent, then later a local councillor, serving as Deputy Mayor or Brisbane.

H. W. Broad (1885–1963)
Herbert Broad joined the Club in 1921. He was elected to the Committee in 1925 and served as Captain from 1930–1931 and 1936–1937. He served as President from 1937–1940. In his professional life Herbert Broad was a manufacturer’s agent.
E. J. D. Stanley
E. J. D. Stanley (1884–1993)
Edward Stanley served as President from 1940–1943 and 1946–1947. He was awarded the 24th Honorary Life Membership in 1960. In his professional life, Justice Stanley was appointed Acting Supreme Justice in 1944 and a Judge of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1947.

J. D. Land (–1976)
Jack Land was a Club member for 40 years, from 1936–1976. He served as Captain 1940–1943 and President from 1943–1946 and 1950–1953. He was awarded the 20th Honorary Life Membership in 1956. In his professional life Jack Land was a grazier and entrepreneur.

H. W. Herbert (–1972)
Horrie Herbert was a Club member for 51 years, from 1921 to 1972. He was elected to the Committee in 1930, served as Honorary Treasurer from 1933–1938 and President from 1947–1950. He was awarded the 22nd Honorary Life Membership in 1959.

Claude Farragher served as President from 1953–1955. In his professional life, he worked in the communications sector and became a State Director for Post and Telegraphs in Queensland.

G. H. Mocatta OBE (1903–1977)
George Mocatta: Club member for 32 years, from 1945–1977. Committee member 1953–1961. President 1955–1958. 28th Honorary Life Membership in 1972. In his professional life George Mocatta OBE was a solicitor who became a commissioned officer in the Army, Navy and Airforce, serving in World War I and II.

Herbert Watkin served as President from 1958–1959. In his professional life Sir Herbert Watkin was a teacher who served in World War 1 and later became Director-General of Queensland Education 1952–1964.

Tom Dixon joined the Club in 1936, first serving on the Committee 1943–1945. He served as Vice President 1961–1962, President 1962–1964 and was awarded the 38th Honorary Life Membership in 1990. In his professional life, he was a shoe manufacturer and businessman and served in World War II.

Jim Dixon served as President from 1964–1967. He was awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Queensland Golf Union in recognition of his contributions. In his professional life, Dr James Dixon served in World War II and later became a general medical practitioner.

Sam Mills joined the Club in 1935 and was elected the Committee in 1958. He served as Captain 1958–1960 and President from 1967–1969. He became a Trustee of the Club in 1978 until 1987 when the Club incorporated. He was awarded the 32nd Honorary Life Membership in 1978. In his professional life he was a printer, stationer and businessman and served in World War II.
