About Us
Established in 1896, The Brisbane Golf Club is a premier golfing destination thanks to the vision of our founding Members. With great foresight, these pioneers of Australian golf built an exceptional golf course together with traditions and culture that has created the unique combination of challenging golf with unparalleled fellowship among members. Many decades later, we enjoy the benefits of their enthusiasm and energy every day.
Our heritage-listed Clubhouse stands proud and has been voted in the Top 25 Clubhouses in Australia.
Our Members, most importantly, adore our 18-hole championship golf course. Our golf course is like no other and we are regarded as one of the country’s most improved golf courses. We are ranked in the top 100 golf courses in Australia according to both Golf Australia and Australian Golf Digest magazines.
The Brisbane Golf Club has hosted the Isuzu Queensland Open on a record 21 occasions and we are the only golf course in Australia to have ‘Champion’ greens, a putting surface which is installed on over 700 golf courses in the United States.
The Club created history in 2018 by becoming the first club to win the prestigious Brisbane District Golf Association Division One Pennant undefeated, and back-to-back. In the same year we also won the Gold 1 BDLGA Pennant. In 2023 we again hold both titles.
