To improve service levels, The Brisbane Golf Club will launch a contactless ordering and payments system from Monday, 28 February 2022.
It will allow the Club to introduce table service to all its current dining areas and assist to offer greater menu variety.
The system is called me&u and features in several of Australia’s most popular venues including Howard Smith Wharves here in Brisbane.
Members will be able to order cooked to order food from the kitchen and beverages from a set menu from any table around the Clubhouse, seven days a week. This means on hot days or wet days, Members can sit in the Member’s Lounge and order with full table service provided. It will also mean less time in queues.
Members using their smart phones can either tap the me&u beacon, which will be installed on each of our tables, to scan the QR code or download the me&u app. This will launch a menu which can be used to select the food and beverages they would like to order. Payment can be made via credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and only needs to be set up once. As soon as possible your food and beverages will then be delivered to your table.
How to use instructions will be provided on each table.
A feature of the new menu will be an all-day breakfast menu and ‘after golf’ options which will be available until 5.30pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Snack type food and beverages will continue to be available from the Garden Room over the counter before, during or after your round.
