Entries are now open for the 2017 Isuzu Queensland Open, to be played from October 26-29 at The Brisbane Golf Club.
There will be 132 players competing in this year’s championship. In recent years over 300 players have entered the event. This year non-exempt players will be required to contest qualifying on Monday, October 23 at either Carbrook Golf Club or Wynnum Golf Club.
A minimum of ten players will advance to the championship field from those qualifying competitions. They will join twelve exempt players already in the field from Regional Qualifiers, and Golf Queensland Championships.
The tournament is open to Male Professional and Amateur golfers whose Golf Australia Handicap does not exceed 4.4 strokes. Amateur golfers must enter via the Queensland Open website. Click here to enter.
Last year two female QLD Amateurs contested the Pre-Qualifying competition narrowly missing out on a spot, it is expected more females will compete in the Pre-Qualifying this year.
Australian PGA members and all other non-Australian PGA members must enter via the PGA Australia. Click here to enter.
Entries close on Thursday, October 5 at 5.00 pm (AEDT).
