The Brisbane Golf Club will host the Brisbane Junior Amateur Championships on Thursday, 7 July 2022 and Friday, 8 July 2022. This will be the second consecutive year BGC has hosted.
The combined boys and girls event is open to anyone 18 years and under and a field of just over 100 players is expected.
The 18 & Under Best Gross Boy’s winner last year was BGC Member, Chris Somerfield and a large contingent of BGC’s 150 Juniors Members are again expected to compete.
The first round of the 36 hole event will be played on Thursday afternoon while the second round will be played on Friday morning. Shotgun starts will be available for Members on Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.
Members are encouraged to come out and walk the fairways with the juniors. Not only to provide their support but to get an up close look at the future stars of our game.
